      You can get Herpes.

Many things are possible with STD’s. Their symptoms are many and there lack of symptoms are possible as well.

It could express many, some or no symptoms.

It’s best just to get an STD screen.

Yes, absolutely! About 1 million new genital herpes cases are reported every year in the U.S. Millions more are likely unreported because people don’t know they have the virus. You can actually have herpes and not get an outbreak for years after the first infection. Without symptoms that you can feel or see, the only way to know you have herpes is to get tested.

Because herpes is spread by skin to skin contact, a condom does not protect you 100%. If you feel you may have been exposed to the virus, you should be tested.

Yes it is. I barley get any sores or blisters but I feel symptoms now an then and I take antiviral medication when I feel an out break coming. A lot of people don’t have many symptoms or out breaks or symptoms that they mistake for other things because they have a mild out break. Some times the only way to find out is to get tested specifically for herpes, you can have a blood test done if you don’t get out breaks.
It’s possible to have one type of herpes with out having the other, but you could also end up with both types of the virus. There is still a small chance of passing the virus on even if you have protected sex. Herpes only takes skin to skin contact during sex to be passed, condoms don’t cover every thing down there. You could have had sex with some one that didn’t know they had herpes.
