Does Acyclovir control the herpes virus?
I һаνе oral herpes. I take Acyclovir 800mg 3x a day аѕ needed. I’m wondering іf іt hill suppress tһе virus ѕο I don’t һаνе outbreaks? Thanks

lysine is a natural anti viral that you get in health food shops some people swear by it others say its crap.
I have taken Acyclovir for about 3 years now, and it has been very effective! I take one pill at the first sign of a cold sore (the burning tingle), and usually, I only have to take that one! It’s quite great! I have a cold sore right now — my first in 2 years!— just because I didn’t get a prescription refill in time. I highly suggest Acyclovir!
My doctor moved me to Valtrex today actually, which is supposed to be better (although more expensive). I’ll have to wait and see how well it works.
I tried Lysine before Acyclovir and it did nothing for me.
